If you have chosen to build a family, or currently live among other people in a community, you are by definition a non-hermit. And this book is for you. I call these mindsets as "deliberate" because they will require a certain amount of willingness and premeditation in order for them to work on you. These mindsets will not come to you as part of your nature of growing old, but rather will come to you only with purposeful and conscious effort to absorb them. There is no one right way of reading this book. You can read the chapters in any order that you want. The 17 points I wanted to make do not have a merit order, with the exception only of the mindset on faith.
Before you plunge into it, let me just state that as author of this book, I have no aspirations and posturing to be regarded as a guru on anything. My intent is simple: to share. I want to build with words, through this book, an indestructible bridge to reach other people.
